JBS Austrália inicia em março o processamento de seu primeiro rebanho orgânico
certificado, que será comercializado sob a nova marca Acres, informou a empresa
em nota, nesta quinta-feira, 16. A carne será produzida na planta de
Rockhampton, em Queensland, e atenderá ao mercado australiano e aos principais
mercados internacionais.
Nos
Estados Unidos, por exemplo, a marca estará presente tanto no food service como
no varejo. "O lançamento nos ajudará a atender à crescente demanda
identificada neste nicho de mercado, assim como aumentará a nossa
competitividade internacional", disse, na nota, Brendan Tatt, gerente
comercial da JBS Austrália.
